Nutritionist, chef, career-changer, cancer survivor: all words that describe Lisa Corrado.
While living a full-time corporate life, Lisa decided to follow her passion out of the
computer field and into food & nutrition. Weekends were spent first earning a graduate
degree in Human Nutrition, then a diploma in Culinary Arts. New degrees in-hand, Lisa
said good-bye to corporate life and hello to business ownership.
In October 2003, Lisa launched Eating Well, a personal chef business. Clients enjoyed
healthy meals prepared to their specifications as well as in-home nutritional counseling.
Business boomed and Lisa found herself cooking for as many as ten families a week.
Looking to shift the balance more towards nutritional counseling, Lisa opened an office
in New Canaan, CT in 2006. Clients could now enjoy the full benefits of in-office

Today, Lisa Corrado Nutrition has expanded even more to include Healthy On The Go

four-week program called Ready-Set-Go: A Jumpstart to Healthy Eating. Lisa developed Ready-Set-Go after undergoing chemotherapy for a cancer diagnosis in 2010 and realizing that her own healthy eating was a casualty of that treatment. Now cancer-free and healthy, Lisa works with all types of people who are interested in building sustainable, life-long healthy eating habits.
